What exactly is financial planning?
Financial planning is the roadmap that shows you how to get to where you want to be; not just financially, but also in life. It helps you understand how the choices you make today will affect your future.
We work with you to identify what’s important to you and where you want to be in the future. We’ll then put together a plan to help you get there, and if you want us to, we’ll continue working with you to make sure your plan stays on track.
We want your journey with us to be a long and fruitful one, so this is how a typical client journey will look:
1
Getting to know you
A ‘no strings attached’ meeting to see if we are the right financial adviser for you. No cost, no expectations; just an informal chat to see if we’re a good fit.
2
A financial health check
This meeting looks at your financial life in more detail. The aim is to build a really clear picture of what you have and why you have it. By the end, you’ll be feeling much more organised and in control of your finances.
3
Planning your future
We’ll talk you through your options and explore the opportunities and risks associated with achieving your financial objectives. By the end of the meeting, you’ll have a detailed road map for getting you from A to B.

4
Making it happen
We’ll create a clear and concise action plan and work together on putting it into action. This might mean bringing some pensions together, setting up a new investment or even moving forward with the sale of your business.
5
Staying on track
Life is never straightforward and things change over time. So your plan needs to evolve with you to keep you on track towards the things that are important to you.
We’ll meet regularly to discuss what’s happening in your life and update your plan to reflect any changes. Our ‘open door’ policy means you know we’re here for you whenever you might need us.
